Johnson Controls helps you define your refrigeration needs

Shipping and receiving docks, production area’s and storage facilities all need to be kept at predefined conditions to maintain product quality and ensure that the operating parameters of a custom made refrigeration system are maintained. In today’s fast moving environment, the supply chain is changing with increased levels of automation. How do you ensure your industrial refrigeration system will meet your needs for today and for the future?

As a refrigeration industry pioneer, Johnson Controls can help you to define your refrigeration needs, backed with knowledge of more than a century of proven experience.

Choose the right refrigeration solution

Mechanical food coolers or freezers use halocarbons, ammonia or CO2 as refrigerant and are equipped with either direct expansion, liquid overfeed or gravity-flooded evaporators.

The choice of evaporator system depends on freezer size and configuration, space limitations, freezer location, existing plant systems (if applicable), relative cost and end user preference. Johnson Controls helps you to select the right installation for your needs.

Refrigeration Installation

Extracting heat from food products can be done in a number of different ways, such as blast freezing (cold storage rooms, stationary blast cells, straight belts, spiral belts,…) or contact freezing (single or double plate,…). This can be done either by batch or as a continuous production line.

Either way, Johnson Controls can assist you in defining your needs and installing a custom made refrigerating installation.
